Make sure to reserve in advance, as there are limited spots, and you must book a one hour time slot. This place gets reserved days out, so try to book as soon as you know when you'll be able to go. Entrance is free, but you just need to buy a drink.
When we went they weren't very strict on times of arrival or of time slots particularly, but they do reserve the tables for your party. Drinks aren't nearly as expensive as we were anticipating. We got a jar of sangria for just 9 euros and it was delicious. Talk about the best of both worlds!

Instagrammable Spots in Barcelona #4: Casa Vicens
This is the first house made by Gaudi, and my god what a masterpiece this place is. The outside is truly beautiful, and worth a photo or two, which you can see below.
However, we do suggest heading inside to see all of the beauty that this place has to offer. Our favorite photo spot is actually just when you walk in the entrance on the outside of the building. But go inside and you will have tons of other photo opportunities, as well as learn a lot about Gaudi's architecture.
Tickets seem to vary in price a bit, as we read different rates than when we went for. We paid 16 euros by booking online, and it is 1 euro extra to purchase from the ticket booth upon arrival.
