Ongongo Waterfall Campsite, located in the Kunene Region, is a bit off the beaten path, but is truly a hidden gem offering a tranquil escape.
Camp near a refreshing natural pool fed by a waterfall, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploration.
This campsite is one of the most unique places to stay in Namibia for those that want to connect with nature and do something a little different.
3. Quiver Tree Forest

NOTE: The owner of this place is truly a misery, and we almost didn't want to recommend this. However, the place is gorgeous, but we'd like to be completely transparent that we did not enjoy the lack of hospitality here.

Canyon Roadhouse is a quirky and charming stopover near the Fish River Canyon, and where we stopped for coffee and their ATM on our way to Quiver Tree Forest.

Nestled along Namibia's wild Skeleton Coast, Shipwreck Lodge offers a truly unique experience with cabins designed to resemble shipwrecks scattered across the dunes.
