Amenities at Snowman World
There are bathrooms right at the entrance of Snowman World in a heated indoor area. There is one for woman and one for men. The woman's one has just two stalls, so expect long lines.
Also at the front before entering, there is a cafe for snacks and hot drinks.
At the cafe there are also small purchases available for things like hand warmers and souvenirs. (Although we'd recommend bringing your own since they are more expensive there).
Snowman World has a restaurant and bar inside. The restaurant requires reservations and has seating times (see the section above), as well as the Ice Bar, which anyone can enjoy at their leisure.
It's important to note that there are not really areas to relax inside Snowman World, and of course as everything is made from ice and snow, the only place to warm up is inside the building where the entrance is. For this reason, we also entered and exited Snowman World many times.
Snowman World, Rovaniemi: What to Expect
As soon you enter Snowman World, Rovaniemi, you'll be greeted with a large ice tunnel with intricate designs carved throughout the walls. There are then various hallways that you can enjoy with different art carved into all of the walls.
These halls then to the lead to the rest of the activities that are offered throughout Snowman World.
Here are the different activities you can enjoy while at Snowman World, Rovaniemi:
The Ice Throne & Slide
Enter the room on the right side, and you'll find a large sculpted ice thrown for people to take pictures on, and behind it are two small ice slides to go down.
This is more for children, but we enjoyed it, and so did a lot of the other adults!
The Small Slide Outside
Right when you get outside, you can also find another small slide. This one is not as big as the ones inside, and definitely is more for kids to enjoy.
Iceskating
Outside on the left hand side you'll find an ice rink. Skates are provided, and there are also ice skating supports, to help in case you'd like to get out on the ice but aren't a confident skater.
Tubing
Tubing is probably the most fun activity offered at Snowman World. Grab your tube and get on line to be thrown down the icy slope. There's also beautiful views at the top of Santa Claus Village!
There are two tubing routes you can take. One is a bit shorter and popular with kids, while the other is longer and a more thrilling adventure.
We'd recommend doing tubing early, as it is by far the most popular activity, and lines can get very long.
The Ice Bar & Ice Disco
This bar is entirely made of ice! Everything from the glasses you drink out of to the bar itself are perfectly sculpted.
There is a DJ playing, a table with a shot wheel, and colorful shots you can order for a wild arctic experience.
Don't miss out on the room attached to the Ice Bar, as this is where there is plenty of seating, and some really cool ice sculptures!
