☀️ Weather in Xela, Guatemala

As Xela is located in the highlands, the weather is pretty crazy there.

It is much cooler and wetter than other Central American destinations, and it can get very foggy and misty, giving it this eerie vibe.

One minute it will be super sunny, the next you won't be able to see from all the fog, and the next it can suddenly clear up.

This is exactly what happened to us at Fuentes de Georgina, so no matter how the weather looks, we definitely suggest you go check it out! We honestly loved the gloomy, misty atmosphere around these hot springs in Guatemala, and felt it really added to the vibe of the place.

The best time to visit Fuentes de Georgina is early in the morning, or late in the afternoon. This is when the hot springs have the fewest amount of people, and you can enjoy the pools to yourselves.
