The water is completely safe to drink on this island. While it is custom to drink bottled water in restaurants, there is no problem ordering tap water instead. We use the 17oz Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle by Cafago, as it holds the temperature well.

How Much Do You Tip in Cyprus?

Tipping is not super typical in the culture here. If you feel like you've gotten very good service, you can simply round up to the nearest euro, or leave up to 5% of the bill.

Some of our favorite dishes also include spicy feta dip (local cheese), spanakopita (spinach pie), and baklava (a traditional Greek dessert). Don't miss out on the fresh fish options, as well as a delicious Greek salad to start off your meal.

Getting Around Ayia Napa in Cyprus

We rented a car and truly think it is the easiest way to explore the area of Ayia Napa in Cyprus. However, the area isn't too big, so if you don't want to drive, there are other options! There are some buses, and you can also get taxis while you are in the area, but they can get quite expensive.
