Dining in Riga is quite budget-friendly compared to other European capitals. A meal at an inexpensive restaurant typically costs €8-€15 per person, though you can find options as low as €5-€7.
For a mid-range restaurant, expect to pay around €20-€35 for a three-course meal. If you're dining at a high-end restaurant, main courses usually range from €20-€30, depending on the dish and location.

At restaurants, tipping isn't mandatory but is appreciated, especially for good service- around 10% is standard. Also, don’t be surprised if service feels a bit cold compared to other countries- Latvians can be friendly but are not overly expressive in professional settings.
