Is it Safe to Take a Trip to Armenia?
Now that you know all about where to stay, what to visit, and how to get around, let's talk about an important part of taking a trip to Armenia (or anywhere really) - safety!
👮🏻♀️ Is Armenia Safe to Visit?
Armenia is very safe for tourists, and we felt comfortable at all times. Violent crime is rare, and locals are typically really hospitable.
The moment we stepped onto the metro in Yerevan we felt it - everyone seemed pretty serious, kind of like New Yorkers, in their own world. The moment the car jerked and our luggage started moving around, several people helped us. They weren't over-the-top friendly - they were sincere, caring, and just nodded with a small grin.
It's one of those countries that doesn't feel warm on the surface, but the people always have your back - and that's the real definition of safety while traveling for us.
