In Mexico there is a program called "Pueblos Mágicos". This is for those cities that are able to hold a title for keeping their original architecture, style, and customs. Because of this, you will find that there are many cities that are similar. One of those similarities is the many different colors you will find.
Walk through Valladolid and you will find so many colorful buildings. Some streets so many that it will be a full rainbow of colors!
For this reason, one of our favorite things to do in Valladolid was to simply wander around the center. This pink church in particular was one of our favorites.
