The hotels in Goreme are typically smaller, but are known for having some of the best rooftops in the area, and it has the highest concentration of cave hotels in Cappadocia.
Uchisar
Uchisar is like the cool and more refined older brother of Goreme. It's just 5 minutes away, but is home to many of the top hotels in Cappadocia, particularly the luxury ones.
Uchisar boasts some of the most stunning valley panoramas, and also has many hotels offering excellent views of the balloons.
This area is a bit pricier than the other areas, but truly has some of the most incredibly impressive hotels in all of Cappadocia.
Cavusin
If you're looking for equally great balloon views of Uchisar, but with more budget-friendly accommodation options, then Cavusin is the place to be. It's just up the road from Goreme, making it still well-connected, but much more quiet and low-key.

1. Museum Hotel
Museum Hotel is the epitome of a bucket-list stay, and is not only one of the top hotels in Cappadocia, but one of the most impressive ones we have ever seen! It has 30+ rooms, each with its own unique style. As the name suggests, it very literally feels as if you're stepping into a museum, from the moment you walk into the lobby to the incredible details each room has.
The hotel has prime vistas for hot air balloon watching, a beautiful outdoor pool, and an incredible terrace with top-notch dining.
You definitely won't want to miss out on one of their most special suites - some of them have their own pools, and 4 of them have faucets with unlimited wine! (Safir Deluxe Room, Eftelya Deluxe Suite, Naile Deluxe Suite, and Harem Superior Suite).

2. Argos
Argos is probably the next most impressive hotel in Uchisar, and has been rated one of the top hotels in Cappadocia as a whole.
Their vast property has an amazing pool, an incredible restaurant, and a couple of different special areas reserved for private events. They also offer both cave rooms and stone rooms, so if you have a large group you're able to mix and match depending on each couple's preference.
3. Millstone Cave Suites
Millstone was one of the first places we stayed in Cappadocia, and yet it still remains one of the top hotels in Cappadocia that we visited.
We fell in love with Millstone for their stunning rooms that have the cave feel, but with a dash of luxury. The rooms are extremely spacious, the breakfast (served in a cave restaurant) is delicious, and we were even greeted with fresh chocolate chip cookies at our door!
Despite loving our room so much, after seeing some of the other rooms, we realized just how much we need to go back! They have several rooms with their own pools that overlook the unique landscapes of Uchisar - making this a true bucket list experience.
Millstone has big and spacious rooms with modern luxuries.
4. Taskonaklar
Epic views, green terraces, and a modern twist on Cappadocian charm- that's what youo'll get if you book a stay at Tasonaklar. They also have special spaces reserved for big events, so this is the perfect location to book if you are planning something big!

5. Ariana Sustainable Lodge
Love the Cappadocian feel but want an elevated version of it? Well, Ariana Sustainable Lodge is one of the small luxury hotels of the world, and has large modern spaces, contemporary dining, and panoramic views of the valley surrounding it. It's a true slice of paradise for those that want a blend of authentic and modern all in one.
6. Les Maisons de Cappadocia
If you're looking for a long-term stay, or will be working while traveling, then this is definitely one of the top hotels in Cappadocia for you.
Les Maisons de Cappadocia has incredible cave apartments that are fully equipped with kitchens. There are great views from the terraces, and the staff are friendly. It's a totally different experience staying here than other hotels in Cappadocia, and is perfect for those that want a tranquil atmosphere and perhaps to cook at home some nights.

Goreme is home to so many of the top hotels in Cappadocia! Being centrally located and boasting epic terraces, we're here to show you some truly incredible accommodation options in Cappadocia's most popular town.
7. Local Cave House
Looking for one of the most Instagrammable hotels in Cappadocia? Well, Local Cave House is just the place to be. It has a gorgeous pool, spacious rooms, and great breakfast. You can even sign up in the morning (for an extra charge) for their exclusive floating breakfast!
8. Aza Cave Hotel
Aza Cave hotel is one of the top hotels in Cappadocia, and even one of the options we are considering using for our wedding!
We absolutely love Aza because it's right in the heart of Goreme, it has its own fairy chimneys, and has an amazing pool right in the middle of it.
They have one of the most incredible breakfasts in Cappadocia, and despite not having a rooftop, they allow you to go to Sultan Cave Suites (their sister property) to take advantage of their various terraces for enjoying the balloons at sunrise.
9. Sultan Cave Suites
Just steps away from Aza Hotel, Sultan Cave Suites is another property that belongs to Kelebek Group. It's one of the top hotels in Cappadocia for balloon-watching, known for its epic rooftop area.
There are over 30 rooms at Sultan Cave Suites, each one showing off its own unique style. The whole property is simply gorgeous, and they also have an incredible restaurant you can stop at for an early breakfast, relaxing lunch, or fancy dinner.
PS: You can visit the rooftop if you have a reservation at Aza as well!
10. Mithra Cave Hotel
Mithra was one of our favorite hotels in Cappadocia - it has a few different terraces to enjoy, incredible cave rooms, a great restaurant (we suggest getting the lamb with orzo!) and they even have a cave library!
With great views of the balloons and a variety of places to relax, there are so many ways to enjoy a stay at Mithra Hotel, and you don't need to break the bank to do so. We even got our room upgraded free of charge!
11. Koza Cave Hotel
This family-run gem is situated right in the heart of Goreme, and is famous for its amazing rooftop views. They have just a few rooms, but if you get the chance, try to secure the Queen Suite, which has its own rooftop jacuzzi to enjoy and watch the balloons from!
This is definitely one of the most bucket-list worthy hotels in Cappadocia, and also one you'll want to book well in advance.
12. Henna Hotel
Henna Hotel was one of our top hotels in Cappadocia we stayed at, and was absolutely voted our number one choice for their breakfast assortment, as well as their outdoor facilities.
This hotel has a brand new restaurant on one of their terraces, live music in the afternoons, and even a table decorated with a chandelier for a special dining experience.
You can watch the balloons on a terrace full of cushions, soak in a rooftop jacuzzi, or have an exclusive Turkish set up for breakfast. The possibilities are endless at Henna- this hotel truly has it all, and is located just steps away from the principal street of Goreme.

13. Cratus Stone Palace
Just like Henna Hotel, Cratus Stone Palace features a rooftop jacuzzi to be enjoyed while taking in Cappadocia's gorgeous views, particularly for top-notch balloon watching. With spacious rooms, an impressive restaurant, and massive rooftop, Cratus Stone Palace is one of the top hotels in Cappadocia for those that want it all without paying an insane price tag.
14. Sacred Mansion
If you're looking for a true luxury stay in Cappadocia, then don't miss out on Sacred Mansion, a brand new property right in Goreme.
From the stunning fountain and grand stairs leading up to the front of the hotel, to the beautiful lobby and underground cave spa, every detail of Sacred Mansion will make you feel like you're on a glamorous getaway.

The Top Hotels in Cappadocia: Cavusin
Looking for a cool hotel that has great balloon views and authentic cave feels without the chaos of Goreme? Well, here's a bucket-list stay in Cappadocia that's perfect for you.
16. Seki Cave Hotel
Another hotel of the Kelebek Group, Seki Cave Hotel has the cool rooftop vibes of its sister properties, but a more exclusive feel to it.
It has stunning views of the hot air balloons and Cavusin castle, and has a rooftop jacuzzi experience you can have for sunrise or sunset! (It costs 60 euros extra).

Urgup isn't really one of the top areas to stay in Cappadocia, but if you want a more local feel and a truly unique hotel, then it may just be an area worth stay in during your visit.
17. Yunak Evleri
Tucked away in the small town of Urgup lies one of the top hotels in Cappadocia, especially for big events! It's one of the biggest hotels in the region, boasting unique cave rooms, 2 pools, and a variety of different terraces to enjoy.
We actually checked this hotel out for its incredible wedding venue options- if you're traveling with a big group, then this is an excellent option for an authentic and special stay in Cappadocia.
